Speaking at Iran-Switzerland business forum attended by the Swiss President Johann Schneider-Amman, Iran’s Minister of Industry Mohammadreza Nematzadeh said “the president of Switzerland has invited Iran’s Hassan Rouhani to make a visit to the European country heading a 400-member delegation.”
“Currently, four credible Swiss companies are active in Iran,” stressed the official expressing hope that proper grounds will be provided for fruitful cooperation between the two sides.
He went on to add that “a synergy can be achieved between Iran’s young, educated and talented population and Switzerland’s experienced forces.”
Nematzadeh further asserted “we hope cooperation with Swiss companies will lead to development of Iranian economy; we call for facilitation of banking ties between the two countries since banking relations remain as prerequisite to economic growth.”
“A total of 3.5 percent of Switzerland’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is spent on Research and Development (R & D) fields offering a good potential for Iran’s knowledge-based companies,” he concluded.
