Iran-China coop. not limited to Arak reactor modernization

The AEOI head Ali Akbar Salehi, referring to some of the provisions of the MoUs signed between Iran and China, said the cooperation between the two countries is not limited to the modernization of Arak nuclear facilities or construction of small 100 MW power plants.

Salehi made the remarks in a meeting with Xu Dazhe, the head of China's Atomic Energy Authority, here on Saturday.
 
Pointing to centuries of positive and constructive economic and cultural ties between Iranian and Chines nations, Salehi expressed satisfaction with the presence of Chinese high-ranking delegation following JCPOA implementation.
 
“Considering the fact that we are entering a new phase, we seek for the development of bilateral relations in various fields, particularly in the nuclear area,” added AEOI head.
 
Offering an explanation for Iran's short and long term nuclear plans, Salehi addressed some of the provisions of MoUs signed between the two countries and elaborated on the expansion of cooperation in the nuclear field including modernization project of Arak reactor and construction of small 100 MW power plants in Bushehr.
