In a phone contact with Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro on Tuesday, Rouhani said Iran’s victory in nuclear issue is the success of all Libertarian nations and governments in the world.
Pointing out that the people and government of Venezuela have always been standing behind Iran during the years of struggle for nuclear rights and resistance against Western greed, Rouhani said the victory is a success for all the nations of Latin America, especially Venezuela, adding that bilateral ties should be further developed in all fields in the post-sanctions era.
Pointing to Maduro's remarks over the need for further coordination between the two countries in the field of OPEC and global oil prices, Rouhani called for consultations in issues of mutual interest.
