Hossain Jaber Ansari, decrying the provocative action by Saudi Arabia, said the move is in contradiction with all international conventions and legal rules regarding the immunity and security of the diplomatic premises.
"Saudi Arabia is responsible for the damage to the embassy building and the injury to some of its staff," underlined FM spokesperson.
He also underlined the legal right of Islamic Republic of Iran to pursue the case.
