“The unity of Muslim societies is now the most important need of the world of Islam,” President Rouhani said on Tuesday, addressing a meeting of the Cultural Revolution High Council.
“We do not accept the massacre of no innocent human whether Muslim or non-Muslim; Shiite or Sunni,” he added.
President Rouhani pointed to the follow-ups by the foreign ministry and also his phone talk with his Nigerian counterpart, and said, “The conditions necessitate the Nigerian government to accelerate taking the required measures for clarifying the dimensions of the incident and preventing its recurrence in the future.”
He underlined the need for investigating the conditions of leader of Nigerian Shiites and his followers, and said that Iran is ready to send a medical team to Nigeria and treat the wounded.
