Trucks carrying food supplies crossed the Libyan-Egyptian border with enough food to feed 50,000 displaced people for one month.

“Libyan families, who fled their homes and are now displaced, especially in Benghazi, are bearing the brunt of the ongoing conflict among the country’s rival factions - living in dire conditions, without food, medical care or electricity,” said WFP’s Emergency Coordinator for Libya, Wagdi Othman.
