Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the ceremony to mark Natioal Persian Gulf Day in Razi University of Kermanshah on Wednesday. “Iran’s Navy has had a systematic presence in Gulf of Aden; currently, the 34th fleet of destroyers of the Navy is patrolling the Gulf of Aden and Bab al-Mandab waters, and provide security to the sea routes and giant oil tanks crossing these routes,” said the Navy commander.
