During the Decade of Fajr (Feb. 1-11) and on the eve of Iran’s National Day of Space Technology (Feb. 3), experts at the Aerospace Industries Organization of Iran's Defense Ministry as the first satellite launcher in the Islamic world as well as Iran Electronics Industries (IEI) as the first satellite manufacturer in the country successfully put the fourth domestically designed and manufactured satellite called ‘Fajr’ into orbit.
