“Lithuanian market can pave the way for the presence of Iranian goods in other European markets,” Mehrdad Motamedi said.
The Iranian official described Lithuania as “one of the most important European economies” and said the EU member state is one of the “gateways to the European Union.”
He said talks are underway between Iranian and Turkish trade councils to conclude a trade agreement with Lithuania.
