Iran’s Chamran University produces transgenic animals
AHVAZ, Nov. 29 (MNA) – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Shahid Chamran University has achieved the technology of producing transgenic animals.
Shahid Chamran University faculty member Doctor Mohammad Reza Tanabandeh explained that the production of first transgenic mice with high protein expression of leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) was achieved in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Chamran University after about two years of research and by using TMGT method considered as a new method in the production of these animals.
