Holding strike signs for health and safety, they protested the lack of protective provisions and training for taking care of Ebola patients in the Kaiser hospitals and clinics.
They expect the strike to trigger the government to consider their protest over at least 21 Kaiser hospitals and 35 clinics. The nurses claimed that their facilities were not prepared to take care of Ebola patients and that they had not received protective training on Ebola.
