Sama, a Palestinian news agency, reported that following the deal, Israeli negotiating team entered Cairo for a permanent peace deal to be negotiated with Hamas.
“With the escalation of hostilities in Gaza, Egypt invites both Palestinian and Israeli sides to abide by the ceasefire to be held since 12:01 AM Cairo local time, August 11,” said the statement.
