The surgeons used the skin of a 12-year-old boy, who was pronounced brain dead, for treating deep burn wounds of the patient.
Dr. Hassan Tavousi, the burn ward official, said nearly 150 skin allografts have been carried out in the hospital.

Brain-dead teenˈs skin rescues burnt Iranian girl
Surgeons at Imam Reza (AS) University of Mashhad in northeastern Iran have successfully performed skin allograft on a 12-year-old girl.
