According to Entekhab website, Dowlatabadi dismissed the BBC report that he refused to edit the primary version of the novel required by the Ministry of Culture and the Islamic Guidance to get license for.
Dowlatabadi said that he has considered the requirement to edit parts of the novel which is going to be licensed and published in Persian language soon.
