The sources told Mehr News correspondent in Syria that “19,500,000 of Syrians out of its total population of 23,000,000 are living in safe regions controlled by Syrian army which plays important role in public turnout in the presidential elections of Tuesday.”
They emphasized that polls showed 60 to 70 per cent of the Syrians eligible to vote would participate in tomorrow’s presidential elections.
