According to seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quakes occurred at 05:05 and 05:39 hours local time (0135 and 0209 GMT).
The first quake was epicentered in an area located at 29.22 degrees latitude and 52.78 degrees longitude and the other at 22.24 degrees latitude and 52.79 degrees longitude.
