An expert in the Middle East issues, Sabbah Zanganeh told IRNA on Tuesday that the attack was not motivated by religious sentiments but only had political reasons behind it.
Pointing out that the construction of a gas pipeline entailed many advantages for Iraqi developing economy, he said any attack on such projects means damaging Iraqˈs national interests.
