He offered the Syrian guest an official welcome in Tehran’s Sa’adabad Palace during which the two officials reviewed a guard of honor in the historical and cultural place.
Al-Halqi is here on his sixth visit to meet and confer with Iranian officials.
Upon his arrival in Tehran on Friday, he said he is carrying the message of Syrian government and nation to Iran for its recent achievement in nuclear talks in Geneva.
