General Rahim Safavi pointed to the rising tides of Islamic awakening in the world, and said, “Some people think that the Americans have controlled the waves of Islamic awakening. The Americans are not able to harness the Islamic awakening the same way that they couldn't control the Islamic Revolution (of Iran), the Islamic awakening cannot be stopped.”
The Supreme Leader’s military aide pointed to the threats posed by the enemies against Iran, and said, “Basij (Volunteer) Force is the Iranian nation’s option on the table to confront any possible threats of the enemies."
He reiterated that Basij can be used as an inspiring paradigm for confrontation against the US and the international Zionism throughout the world, specially in Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria and Lebanon.
