“5 Nobel Prize winners in economics have supported the anti-sanctions movement formed in Iran and condemned the embargos against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the Iranian officials said in a conference organized by the Anti-Sanctions Movement in Tehran participated by Chairman of Tehran’s Chamber of Commerce Yahya Al-e Eshaq and other economic officials of the country on Saturday.
According to the Iranian officials attending the conference, the five Economics Nobel Prize winners who have deplored the sanctions against Iran include Thomas Schelling (2005), Alvin Roth (2012), Gary Becker (1992), Robert Lucas (1995) and Kenneth Arrow (1972).
