The coordination is being made through President Hassan Rouhani and Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Afkham told reporters at her weekly press conference.
She added that the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) is in charge of policy-making based on coordination between Supreme Leader and the President.
Afkham made the remarks while asked whether Ayatollah Khamenei, prior to the Geneva talks, was informed of the details of Tehranˈs plan later presented to the members of the G5+1 in the talks.
