In an interview with IRNA on Sunday, he said that the 5+1 member states have to bring wise and logical proposals to their nuclear meeting with Iran.
Khorram, who used to serve as Iran’s representative at international organizations based in Vienna, stressed that both Iran and the 5+1 expect their teams to take the initial steps.
He stressed that as the first step, Iran has promised the world about the peaceful nature of its nuclear program.
The expert also said that the western countries should respect Iran’s right for enrichment and not to try to tarnish the newly-emerging positive atmosphere by offering illogical proposals.
He said that given the present positive atmosphere, the western countries seem to participate in the talks with the aim of reaching a conclusion.
