The Americans have realized that such an attack might put heavy burden on them, he said, adding that this urged them to change their mind and choose diplomatic talks instead of taking military action.
There is no doubt that the Islamic Republic of Iran and resistance movement played a key role in this regard, he said.
Iran believes that the Syrian crisis should be resolved through peaceful means, Jazayeri said.
The opposition groups backed by the US and Zionist regime were against peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis and such a way of thinking have caused a catastrophy and inflicted heavy losses on the Syrian government and nation, he said.
It seems the Americans have chosen rationality in dealing with Syria and this has minimized the danger of war on Syria and the entire region, he said.
