Talking to IRNA on Monday, he said big powers have to accept Iran as a regional power and consider its views regarding various regional issues.
He said President Rohani’s New York trip could enhance Iran’s position both at regional and global levels.
Pointing to great hopes for finding a diplomatic solution to Iran’s nuclear issue and reaching an agreement with the 5+1, the Russian expert further noted that removal of sanctions will be on the agenda of President Rohani.
He said removing tensions in ties with the West will provide good chance for the Iranian President to work on ways of removing sanctions.
