The meeting was held on the sidelines of 13th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Kyrgyzstan on Friday.
The Indian foreign minister, meanwhile, called for enhanced Tehran-New Delhi cooperation to hekp settle regional crises.
Presidents of Russia, China, Iran, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan are present in the two-day Summit which kicked off on Thursday.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is an observer member of the SCO.
