He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran supports cessation of conflict in Syria and political dialogue in Geneva, adding that the terrorist groups in Syria have committed many instances of ceasefire violations over the past weeks.
He said the global community should act seriously to fight terrorism.
He said Iran is ready for cooperation with the UN to expedite shipment of emergency supplies to Syria and proceeding with talks.
The Czech official, expressed support for political solution to end the humanitarian crisis in Syria and said that Syrian people should be allowed to decide their own fate.
He said that the nationwide parliamentary elections held in Syria last week was a major manifestation of democratic process, the Syrian government ushered in to help the people determine their own destiny.
