Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force Mohammad Pakpour said that three anti-terrorism operations were launched on Wednesday during the second stage of IRGC security drills in southeast of the country, which included ‘ambushing the enemy that has infiltrated through borders’, ‘retaking the occupied border outpost’, and ‘removing the blockade created by terrorists.’
“In this stage of the drill, IRGC ‘Havaniruz’ Avation helicopters will show off their full range of capabilities by detecting and opening heavy fire on imaginary enemy,” he said.
Also on Tuesday, three Army Aviation helicopters targeted positions of imaginary enemy and destroyed them. Brig. Gen. Pakpour has put a great emphasis on the role and significance of 'Havaniruz' helicopters in the drills.
