The remarks were made by Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Deputy Foreing Minister for Arab-African Affairs, in a meeting with a delegation comprising political and social thinkers of French National Center for Scientific Research, hosted by Foreign Ministry’s Bureau of Political and International Studies in Tehran.
During the meeting, the two sides conferred on the developments in the West Asia region, while François Burgat, Senior Research Fellow at the French National Centre for Scientific Research and the Head of the French Institute of the Near East, highlighted the significant position and effective role of the Islamic Republic in the region, as well as the need for further international cooperation with Iran.
