According to the local Agricultural Jihad official Aziz Hashemi, the flora consignment was exported to Iraq by farmers in the city of Marivan in this northwestern province.
He said the province has large capacities in production and export of different items of ornamental flowers.
This is due to the very favorable climate and rich natural capacity of the province, he added.
He said the exported flora included 69 different items which weighed over 377,999 tons.
Pointing to the warm welcome Iraq shows for Iranian agricultural products, he said about 51,000 saplings and 11,000 sprays of flowers were also exported to Iraq.
