Nothing can hamper Iran-Pakistan friendly ties

The meeting of Pakistani Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Iranian Ambassador to Islamabad Mehdi Honardoust took place in Islamabad on Friday, during which the two sides further stressed the significance of bilateral ties.

“The Pakistan-Iran common stance on various regional issues will lead any foes’ malice against the two countries' brotherly relations to failure,” said the Pakistani minister.

He added the opportunities created by the Iranian president's recent visit to Pakistan should be utilized for further boosting of bilateral ties in all areas.

The Iranian ambassador, for his part, said the two countries share common interests and concerns, stressing Iran’s continued support for Pakistani people and government during difficult times.
