Nuclear or mass destruction weapons are neither allowed in the ideological principles nor in the defensive doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari on Thursday.
The official made the remark in reaction to accusations made by some western sources and reassured that the latest missile drills of Iranian Armed Forces were neither against Iran’s commitments toward the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nor an infringement of UN Security Council resolution 2231.
"All Iranian missiles of different ranges including those ballistic ones which some of them were test-fired in the latest drill are conventional weapons, with no capability of carrying nuclear weapons, for legitimate cause of defending our country," underlined Iranian FM spokesman.
