Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif issued a statement and extended his condolences to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as well as the Iranian nation and religious officials on the death of Ayatollah Tabasi.
Ali Larijani, Iran’s Speaker of Parliament, while commending the constructive role of the cleric in his positions in Assembly of Experts and Expediency Council, offered his condolences to the Leader and Iranian nation.
Ali Akbar Velayati, Head of Iran’s Strategic Research Center, also issued a message to condole with Iranian nation, the Leader and the officials on demise of Ayatollah Tabasi.
Iran’s Assembly of Experts as well offered condolences to the nation on the passing of Ayatollah Vaez Tabasi and praised the prominent cleric’s tireless efforts in serving Shia pilgrims and defending Imam Khomeini’s ideals.
