5+1 yet to fully commit their obligations

Iran’s Parliament speaker has criticized the lack of commitment to JCPOA obligations by the 5+1 countries despite the fact that Iran has been acting according to obligations provisioned in the deal.

5+1 yet to fully commit their obligations

Ali Larijani who was speaking in a meeting with Romanian Foreign Minister Lazãr Comãnescu on Wednesday evening said that since the signing of the deal the Powers had been lagging behind their necessary level of commitment to JCPOA obligations, while Iran had actively engaged in implementation of the deal provisions to build confidence.

“Sanctions still hit Iran’s banking sector which effectively stymie economic and trade exchanges with the world; Iran’s banking sector still suffers the drawbacks of the sanctions. We expect to see rapid and concrete changes in this issue,” Mr. Larijani emphasized.

“Both parliaments will start their new rounds and we hope to see improvements in parliamentary relations as well,” he added.
