Chung Ui-hwa, National Assembly Speaker of South Korea, in a Tue. meeting with Iranian ambassador to Seoul, Hossein Taherian, said the atmosphere following Iran’s nuclear agreement and its implementation has paved the way for further cooperation between Tehran and Seoul, adding his country attaches great importance to expansion of relations with the Islamic Republic.
“Once sanctions are lifted, the two countries can boost cooperation in the economic, cultural and social fields,” he said.
Elsewhere, he talked about Iran’s nuclear negotiations and their positive results, stressing the process of these talks could serve as a good model for settling the issue on North Korea’s nuclear case.
