The Supreme Leader said that the Islamic Republic of Iran believes that the Swiss merchants with their insight about Iran's capacities can improve trade and economic ties.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the Iranians have a good impression of the Swiss government's conduct of political issues and that Iran will welcome enhanced economic and scientific cooperation with Switzerland.
Meanwhile, President Hassan Rouhani was present in the meeting.
The Swiss President expressed pleasure with his visit to Iran and said that Iran and Switzerland enjoy longstanding friendly ties.
