In a meeting with the Head of Lebanon National Television Talal Makdessi, the two sides studied avenues for expansion of media cooperation between Iran and Lebanon.
IRNA chief is now visiting Lebanon at the official invitation extended to him by the director general of Lebanese national television.
'We should not let foreigners exert negative impacts on existing good relations between Iran and Lebanon and the role of media to this end is of prime importance,' Khoddadi said.
The visit is assessed as a suitable opportunity to exchange views with Lebanese media persons bringing more understanding between the two sides, Khoddadi said.
'We believe that Iran and Lebanon know each other quite well but such ties should be bolstered even more,' Khoddai said.
