To actualize political resolution in Syria, the Syrian borders with its neighboring countries should be controlled to stop any more terrorist traffic into the war-torn country, said Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Amir-Abdollahian said on Friday while interviewed by Iran’s state-run Television.
The senior diplomat voiced against establishing a no-fly zone over Syria reiterating that the sole solution of the 6-year-old crisis is political.
Amir-Abdollahian severely castigated those countries which share the table at the meetings of the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) and still follow militancy in Syria, underlining that the repetition of such plans will sure do no help to the security and stability of the region.
The Iranian diplomat stressed that border blocking of terrorists into Syria will facilitate political resolution of the mayhem.
We support ceasefire for delivery of humanitarian relief to all the areas of Syria but those held by terrorists, maintained Amir-Abdollahian underlining the need to resume UN-brokered talks between representatives of Syrian government and the oppositions who respect political way.
