In comments broadcast by Radio Havana to mark the 37th victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, he said the nuclear agreement was reached following 12 years of resilience by the Iranian nation and secured Iran's nuclear achievements.
On extremism and terrorism in the Middle East, Sheikh Hassani said that moderation, rationality and cooperation could contribute to encountering these menaces.
He said the proposal of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the World Against Violence Extremism (WAVE) which was ratified by the UN General Assembly should top the global community's priorities.
The Iranian diplomat also said that in the post-sanctions era, Tehran and Cuba can expand their bilateral relations.
