On extremism and terrorism in the Middle East, Sheikh Hassani said that moderation, rationality and cooperation could contribute to encountering these menaces.
He said the proposal of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the World Against Violence Extremism (WAVE) which was ratified by the UN General Assembly should top the global community's priorities.
