In the meeting with Eliasson, the latest developments in the Middle East region including the crises in Syria and Yemen were discussed.
Also in a separate meeting with his Georgian counterpart, enhancement of relations in trade, energy, tourism and transport were reviewed.
Zarif stressed the role of private sectors in promotion of the two countries' post-sanctions relations. 
Janelidze welcomed removal of sanctions against Iran and said the government in Tbilisi is interested in increasing bilateral ties with Tehran.
Earlier in the day, Foreign Minister Zarif met IAEA Director General Yukia Amano on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
