“The country’s strategy is based on building small nuclear power plants,” he said.
He also said that the country is pursuing establishment of a nuclear hospital. “The nuclear hospital will be a special hospital in the world. The hospital will enjoy the most advanced equipment dealing with rays, the hospital will be inaugurated phase by phase.”
The nuclear hospital will not be only a nuclear hospital and it would also act as a nuclear research center and nuclear engineers would also work in medical fields as well.
He also said that Iran is in talks for establishing two nuclear power plants in, Makran coasts, southern Iran.
Iran is in talks with another country to build two small 100-MW power plants, Salehi said.
