About 12,123 people registered for the Majlis elections.
The Guardian Council had been reviewing qualification of the hopefuls since January 17 to February 5.
The qualified candidates can run campaign as of February 18 for a week.
Majlis (parliament) and Assembly of Experts elections are scheduled for February 25.
All candidates of parliamentary or presidential elections, as well as candidates for the Assembly of Experts, have to be qualified by the Guardian Council in order to run in the election.
