Lebanon's Minister of Economy and Trade Alain Hakim, who is in Tehran to attend the 7th session of Iran-Lebanon Economic Commission, met and talked with Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Monday.
The two sides discussed venues for expanding relations between the two countries also touching upon the latest movements in the region with an emphasis on Lebanon.
Hakim congratulated the implementation of the nuclear agreement and the removal of nuclear sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He underlined the influential role of Tehran in the region expressing hope that the joint session of Economic Commission will open a new chapter in the bilateral ties between Iran and Lebanon.
