'The prevailing atmosphere over Syria is changing, but this change is taking place in a slow and progressive pace so that the Europeans are looking to establish relation with Syria,' Larijani said.
Larijani reiterated that the European are currently pursuing the proximity policy vis-à-vis Syria very quietly, but they will do it blatantly in the future.
The Majlis speaker, for his part, pointed to the situation of terrorists in Syria and Iraq, and said, 'The military pressures on the terrorists have increased and their financial resources are diminishing due to the reduction of oil prices in the world markets.
