Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif in a Sunday meeting with visiting Thai counterpart Don Pramudwinai described the two countries’ relations forward-going and based on mutual respect and common interests, saying Iran is ready to expand cooperation with Thailand on political, economic and cultural relations.
Zarif then discussed the results of the nuclear agreement and its extensive impact on the post-sanction Iran, saying “ample opportunities have been offered to state and private institutions in both countries for discussions among industry owners and businessmen under the framework of joint economic commission."
The Iranian top diplomat went on to add that the Iranian market could become the center for transit, regional exchanges, re-exports, multilateral cooperation, as well as expanding agricultural, fisheries and aquaculture cooperation with its Thai partners.
