Senior Freestyle, Greco-Roman Wrestling Asian Championship will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on February 17-21, 2016.
Asian Wrestling Championships is the Wrestling Asian Championship organized by the Asian Associated Wrestling Committee (AAWC).
The men's tournament began in 1979 and the women's tournament was first staged in 1996, and it has been held every year.
The roster for the Iranian team mainly consists of the top figures at Takhti Cup which was recently held in Tehran on January 14-15, 2016.

65kg: Meysam Nasiri
70kg: Mohammad Naderi
74kg: Mostafa Hosseinkhani
86kg: Ehsan Lashkari

125kg: Yadollah Mohebi or Parviz Hadi
Meanwhile, headed by Mohammad Bana, a total of eight Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers will also take part in the Asian event.
