Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei said on his Facebook account.
The visit takes place upon official invitation made by the Iranian Minister of Agriculture Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati.
The two ministers will explore avenues for expansion of agricultural cooperation as well as exchange of foodstuffs.
The visit is to take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
The two ministers will also review reducing customs tariffs as well as narrowing the red tapes to broaden cooperation in the sector, he said.
