Riyadh isolated in its unilateral, provocative policies

Following the recent Arab League statement against the Islamic Republic, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said Saudi Arabia seeks to impose its own will on other nations to give the impression that Riyadh is not isolated and alone in its policies against regional nations.

Speaking at his weekly press conference on Monday morning, Hossein Jaber Ansari touched upon issues regarding current developments in the region.

Underlining that Saudi Arabia stands alone in its decision-making policies against the Islamic Republic, he said the country is not supported even by Arab countries, in a collective manner.

He asserted that the country tries to impose unilateral policies and tensions against nations and Muslim countries.

Jaber Ansari said Sheikh Nimr’s execution was an act contrary to human rights and international law, adding that many countries oppose and regret the action by a Muslim country.

Pointing to unveiling of Iran's second missile city, he underlined that Iran’s defense system has nothing to do with JCPOA.
