On the sidelines of a meeting with Slovenia’s Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Počivalšek, the Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Amir Hossein Zamaninia referred to Iran’s support of cooperation development with the aim of technology transfer with Slovenia; “at the meeting with the Slovenian side, expansion of ties in areas of oil and gas pipelines, technical equipment as well as technology transfer for accurate utilities were investigated.”
Deputy oil minister for international affairs highlighted that the Slovenian delegation seeks to reinvigorate relations in areas of energy, telecommunications, environment as well as science and industries asserting “the most prominent area of collaboration with the European country intended by Iran’s Oil Ministry pertains to technology transfer in the field of technical and engineering services.”
The official noted the improvement of relations between Iran and Slovenia over the past two years maintaining “four of Slovenia’s largest companies including one firm active in the realm of oil and gas opened their bureaus in Tehran on Sunday evening.”
Zamaninia stated that the two sides investigated venues for mutual cooperation at the meeting; “Iran’s Oil Ministry welcomes boosting of ties with Slovenia in technical fields.”
