“The US and Israel as well as some regional countries have ridiculed the humanistic values, freedom and the human rights and then they accuse our country of causing instability in the region,” Rezayee said on Friday night, addressing a conference of Iranian war veterans in the Southern city of Ahvaz.
He noted that the enemies wanted to show that Iran is incapable and they wanted to deprive the country of its freedom and independence, but they did not know that the war has helped Iran to boost its defensive capabilities.
“The western countries on the pretext of making nuclear weapons imposed sanctions on Iran while they themselves had atomic weapon and had also used it in the war,” Rezayee added.
